A LETTER OF INVITATION

Dear Black Woman HR Leader,

You hold space for everyone.

The employee in crisis. The leader under pressure. The team trying to make sense of the latest organizational change or the most recent bonkers headline. You’re expected to stay steady while everyone else falls apart.

And all too often, there is no space for you. No room to admit the rage, the exhaustion, the loneliness or simply, the reality of being a Black woman working in human resources.

I’ve been thinking about that gap. There are already tons of places to network, take a course or to talk about career advancement. What’s missing is a space where Black women in HR leadership can speak plainly about our experiences without them being minimized, misunderstood or recentered around someone else.

That is why I am creating The Table - an invitation-only community for Black women in HR leadership.

At The Table, you don’t have to explain why all the hard stuff is hard or why it hits differently. You don’t have to soften the truth to make it easier for someone else to hear. You don’t have to hold space for others.

The space at The Table is for you.

What I am creating is a place for Black women leading HR at the Director level or above to gather and talk honestly, ask questions, share resources and support each other without having to perform strength.

If you recognize yourself in this letter and want to hear more, request an invitation below.

I see you,
